this is another incarnation of the defunct "beat spirit" community - watch for new writing assignments...

you don't need to stick with the newest assignment - feel free to browse old assignments. after all, you're writing for you. this group is here to help you find a 'body of work', or to add to the work that you've done. keep a notebook and someday after you've gotten enough things together that you 'like', publish it. like mel's book says, make copies yourself and hand them out if you have to.
